THE
FACILITIES PROVIDED IN THE HOSPITAL ARE –

A) |
Pulse Polio
Immunization Programme |
|
1.
Regular polio immunization camps in
association with Rotary Club Delhi,
Lucknow
and
UNICEF
are
being organised
catering to the needs of hundred of children.
Efforts are being made to sensitize all adults
living in the vicinity to the importance and
need of this immunization. The staff
distributed whistles, caps and Krish masks to
attract children to these camps thereby
ensuring maximum participation. The Chief
Medical Officer and his team of doctors have
always expressed appreciation for the
incessant sincere efforts put in by the
hospital staff in making this Pulse Polio
Project’ of the government of India a big
success.

2. Children between 1-15 years were
given an injection free of cost that would
help them combat Japanese Fever. This has helped
in their progress towards attaining good
health. |

B) |
General OPD:
General O. P. D. is conducted under the guidance of
well experienced local doctors. They not only provide
medical assistance but also help in creating an awareness in
accordance with personal health and hygiene
criteria. Patients are given free medicines.
Complicated cases are referred to city
hospital.

C) |
Gynae Centre:
Expert Gynaecologist provides health
guidelines and regular medical check-up for the village
ladies. Women in the child bearing age are
given guidance and counseling for family
planning and proper immunization of their
children. Several sessions are organised to
sensitize the women folk on gender issues, empowerment of women
and importance of education.

D) |
Eye
Screening: Screening camps have been organised
under the expert guidance of doctors from Allahabad
and Delhi. 3500(approx) patients have so far been benefited
from these screening camps. Eye specialists are
regularly available to render their advise to rural
folk and refer them if needed for eye surgery.

Surgery:
In the
month of December every year, surgery cases are
operated in a hospital in Allahabad where the patients
are taken for three days. Pre-operative,
operative and
post-operative care is taken care of by the
hospital staff. Treatment, medicines and
spectacles are provided free of cost to all
the operated cases. All categories of medical
treatment is free of cost.

E) |
Health Mela:
Regular health Mela is organised
in the month of October where medical specialists from Raibarelli, Lucknow, Allahabad and Delhi are called
for expert advice and guidance. Orthopaedic surgeon,
Opthomologists, Gynaecologists and General Physicians
are called to provided free services to rural folk.
Homeopathic and Ayurvedic doctors also render their
services.

F) |
DAT Centre: Today, the hospital enjoys the rare
distinction of being the only DAT centre in the area.
A workshop was conducted to sensitize people to the
causes and preventive measures Tuberculosis. The people in
the area are more vulnerable to Tuberculosis; the hospital
staff is therefore, very vigilant and conducts regular
saliva tests and distributes free medicines. It thereby
lends substantial support to the project initiated by
the Government of India. |
